As a Parkinson Disease patient or care partner, we are faced daily with the struggles with
the disease. Yet, other happenings in our world also continue to affect us.
We may have had a good friend move away, lose a special pet, not get the job we thought
we had, or dealt with long term care giving, all of which can result in a form of grief.  But it is the
death of a dear friend, a relative, or a spouse after a long or even short
marriage that brings us to our knees. And grief is not a quick experience, and it is not the same
for
everyone. The similarities and differences are what Natasha Josefowitz addresses in this presentation.
