As we have been dealing with the Corona Virus since the beginning of March 2020, we have learned much, followed safety measures, and more than likely felt anxious. Also, being quarantined for this length of time, especially if living alone, elevates stress which can take its toll on carepartners and patients with Parkinsons Disease.
Since the Covid virus is now declining, we are once again meeting in person on the last Wednesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. at the Wood Library, 134 North Main St., Canandaigua, NY. Please use your discretion in maintaining 6-foot social distancing and wearing face masks. You may wish to bring your own beverage and snack; due to health precautions, they will not be provided during the break. We are excited to welcome everybody back with our wonderful speakers. Please join us!

Mission
Our mission is to educate and support individuals impacted by Parkinson's Disease in the Finger Lakes Region.
We would like to thank the F.F. Thompson Foundation for its continued support of our mission through the Mary Clark Thompson Community Grant Program
Support Groups
Many find that a support group offers the education, hope, and information that makes this journey less difficult and more encouraging.
At support meetings, you might find insights to questions such as:
- What medications are available?
- What might help with daily tasks?
- Does exercise help?
- Are there new research findings?
- How can I help as a care partner?
- What resources are available?
- How can I deal with the symptoms?

"Bring Your Own Lunch" Picnic
Where: Outhouse Park, Canandaigua, New York
When: Wed., July 27, 2022, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
What: Bring your own lunch, place settings and beverages. We will not be requesting "dish to share" due to Covid precautions. Grills will be lit and available should you wish to make burgers, hot dogs, etc.
As the Covid virus will most likely not be totally controlled by summer, we still wanted to get together in person. Our picnic will be held in the safest way possible ... outdoors, distanced, and masked even if we have had our vaccine shots.
Please plan on bringing your own complete lunch to decrease the chance of anyone becoming infected with the virus.
Instead of sharing food, we will share conversation ... and BINGO!
