In 2008, the only Parkinso's Disease support groups were scheduled in Rochester, not always an easy trip for someone suffering from Parkinson's Disease. Undaunted, John W. Paul (1934-2020), having dealt with the disease for many years already, helped to establish our support group in Canandaigua along with his wife, Pat Smith.   We owe John a debt of gratitude for starting our group  with 12 people now grown to over 100. 

 Those attending travel from 10 western and central New York counties. When some of our members no longer can comfortably make the meetings, they remain connected via e-mail and/or Zoom sharing groups.
